TRG Halloween 2008by *AlanES

It's not all the characters like past editions, but here's my part for this year's Halloween. And hey, since SeriojaInc is having a Halloween contest, I figure why not enter this in it?

In my Batman kick, I go and make my set of sisters some of Gotham City's finest females. Nala Navilos as the eco-terrorist Poison Ivy, Destiny Rule as a true cat burgler in Catwoman, along with Kitty Navilos as her pet/partner in crime in the animated series, Isis, and Fayte Rule as The Joker's gal, Harley Quinn.

I wanted to use Bruce Timm's designs for the villains, but as much as I love his Catwoman, it just wasn't working as a Halloween costume. Even with the exposed hair, I didn't want to leave it all black and I couldn't do the eyes right. Which is a damn shame because it makes Catwoman so much more hilariously expressive. So I figured I'd go with the next best thing and went with the Tim Burton version. I always found that one to be an interesting design because it was such a hackjob that was put together amusingly well for such, and really, as a kid, it's what really hammered the Catwoman character into my head (Sure, there was the one from the OLLLLLLLD BAM WAP ZOP series, but seriously, folks.)

Hey, how 'bout that? If I had the time to draw all of the guys. The Rogue's Gallery as...The Rogue's Gallery! XD For those interested, Big Nasty would be Bane, Jorge would be Two-Face, Mr. O.M.A would be The Penguin (FAT SUUUUUIT!) and Sapphire...well, to be honest, I really don't know who I'd use for Sapphire. Best thing to come to mind, for fright factor at least, would be the New Batman Adventures version of The Scarecrow. QUITE the overhaul from the design in the first three seasons.

Sorry, folks, I don't think any of my guys have what it takes to pull off a good Joker. XD;;

Beautiful character poses and a backdrop to add on. You can tell how ready I am for Halloween. I still haven't seen the new ones that you might be doing yet. I'm still catching up here.
