I placed 3rd in the Tatsunical contest! I'd feel a little sore that the 1st place went to a video, but as an editor myself, I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into those things. ESPECIALLY a game video. Congrats to all my fellow winners and runner-ups!

Despite all that wah-wah, I decided to finish it after all. But I got a hold of the head of the Tatsunical! contest and once I told him about this, he said that I could still send this in and it could be judged as my true entry, while that old Speedy/Ryu pic will be sent as an added bonus to the guys who made TvC! Good times! I was originally trying to be considerate of the other contestants, but if he said it was all right, who'm I to turn down a second chance?

I gotta admit, this turned out a bit more thinner than I had originally intended. But maybe I make so much of my recent stuff in widescreen that I'm used to it? I dunno. In any case, the end result is still pretty pleasing. Kinda looks like one of those promo arts you see before these games come out.

My goal was never really to win any prizes, really, I didn't even find out there WERE prizes until recently. Now that there are, I'm at least gunning for second place. But really, it was just to further keep that old dream alive and get my art noticed by the TvC big wigs. As long as that happens, I'm satisfied.

Though prizes are happy bonuses, too. XD

I just saw this....Mother of God. You did awesome on the perspective here. It's not "OMGSUPEREXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMEANGLE!"....It's just perfect as it is. Love the effects too.

Whoa! An excellent depiction of What Could Have Been for Tatsunoko vs Capcom, my friend. I love the way you drew the clash between Pururun and Chun-Li's respective "barrage attacks," and of course, Sukashii's predicament was hilariously-drawn. :3 The "mug shots" around the sides of the image were a nice touch, too--they give a feel of this being part of an actual fighting game.
